Overall market weakness is concentrated in the tech and communications sectors - buying opportunity?
Markets seem a little jittery heading into this week’s Federal Reserve meeting, but what about broad sector performance? This data shows which sectors (as represented by their largest respective ETFs) have over/under performed, which sectors might be over bought 🔴 or over sold 🟢, and how their volume is trending ▲ or🔻.
Tech and Communications Services are trading much lower than their 50-day average, and those sectors might be the best current buying opportunities. All other sectors are trading well above their 50-day average. Volume is trending lower for almost all sectors which indicates that overall market enthusiasm is limited.
