π§ Podcast: Why Housing Feels Hopeless | The David Frum Show | Housing is a topic a lot of us Millennials are fairly bitter about. In this episode, the CEO of Redfin "explains why both buyers and sellers are miserable, how pandemic-era mortgage rates have frozen supply, and why the next generation is increasingly stuck, unable to buy, and often unable to move."
π΅ Music: Hell is Near | St. Vincent | St. Vincent is the stage name of Annie Clark, an American musician known for blending art rock, pop, and experimental sounds with sharp lyrics. π° Article: U.S. developers report half of new electric generating capacity will come from solar | Energy Information Administration | Apparently the solar industry isn't going down without a fight: U.S. developers plan to add 64 GW of new utility-scale electric generating capacity in 2025, led by record solar additions of 33 GW, which would make up more than half of all new capacity. Battery storage is set to add a record amount as well, with major growth concentrated in Texas, Arizona, and California. Planned retirements remain modest at 8.7 GW, most of it coal, with several closures delayed or canceled.
