“Earth had its warmest year on record while upper-ocean heat content experienced a record high” according to the latest annual climate report from NOAA (and NASA agrees). I fairly confidently predicted 2024 was going to be the hottest year on record back in July, and it was. December was the 2nd hottest on record (December 2023 was the 1st hottest), globally. Will 2025 break another record?
